Troubleshooting
Confirm the file extension is supported, then close and reopen Quick Look. If you recently installed or updated the app, relaunch Finder and try again.
External-buffer or external-texture .gltf assets are not supported in the Quick Look sandbox; use a self-contained .glb. Embedded base-color textures are supported, while advanced material textures, skins, and animations are unsupported. DXF text, dimensions, and hatch fills are not drawn.
Markdown previews render documents but do not provide Finder thumbnails. Some macOS versions may not show a glTF Finder thumbnail even when the Space-bar preview is available. Binary G-code with decoded motion renders a 3D toolpath; files without usable motion fall back to an embedded preview image and print details.
Please include the file extension, macOS version, and what you expected to see when contacting us. Avoid sending confidential design files unless we ask for one.
